Local Ministries

We support Bethel Outreach Ministries, a faith-based social service agency that assists individuals newly released from prisons.  Judy Jacobs, the current director of the agency, is one of our members, as is the agency co-founder, Rev. Dr. Clinton Lewis.

Rev. Doug Carr and Rev. Dr. Clinton Lewis both serve as volunteer Jail Chaplains, leading worship services and providing Protestant Communion. Dr. Lewis offers weekly pastoral counseling to inmates on request. Our church joined with several others last year to donate many special large print editions of "Free on the Inside" Prison Bibles for the county jail.

Rev. Carol Carr serves as the Chief of Chaplain Service at the Cheyenne VA Medical Center. Other church members serve as hospice and hospital volunteers, in the Gideons, and with the schools.
